The Golf Marathon Sudbury raises funds to improve children’s health in the Greater Sudbury area. We support initiatives that promote both mental and physical well-being, with a focus on creating lasting impact. This includes funding durable medical equipment and resources, as well as supporting programs and activities that directly benefit children’s health. All funds raised stay in our community, ensuring that every contribution helps children and families here at home. We place the highest value on accountability, ensuring that every donor dollar is carefully managed and stretched to maximize meaningful, long-term results for local children.

Participants spend the day on the course, completing as many holes as possible from dawn to dusk. Sponsored on a per hole basis, each hole golfed means more funds raised for local charities.

Green fees are generously donated by Monte Vista Golf Course and Golf Sudbury.

Our 2025 Event Causes:

  • Child and Adolescent Mental Health Program (CAMHP) – $25,000
  • Our Children Our Future – $22,500
  • Northern Ontario Families of Children with Cancer – $20,000
  • Ryan Heights Youth Centre revitalization project – $8,500
